Jane
P. Nestel-Patt, M.Ed., President and CEO
Jane Nestel-Patt brings more than 25 years of non-profit leadership,
program planning and organizational development consulting in education
and child welfare to the management of the daily operations and
strategic development of SPIN®USA.
As the master trainer in the United States, Ms. Nestel-Patt also
oversees all quality assurance regarding SPIN training and certification
protocols. Prior to her work with SPIN®USA,
Jane was the Executive Director of the Carlisle Institute whose
mission was to identify and promote the transfer and adaptation
of best practices in education and child and family development
worldwide. It was in this capacity that Ms. Nestel-Patt spearheaded
the effort to bring SPIN's powerful training methodology to the
United States. Ms. Nestel-Patt also spent 10 years as President
of Management and Educational Resources Associates, a consulting/training
firm that worked with non-profit clients to strengthen programs
and develop systems and strategies for organizational effectiveness.

Terri
Pease, Ph.D., Director of Research and National Trainer
Terri Pease is responsible for development and implementation of
SPIN®USA
programs. Prior to SPIN, Dr. Pease held clinical and administrative
positions in several social service agencies focusing on trauma
and disability services. She is a former tenured professor of psychology
and counseling at Governors State University in Illinois, and was
recently appointed to the National Academy for Equal Justice for
People with developmental disabilities at Temple University.
Dr.
Pease has a Ph.D. in Human Development and Family Studies from Cornell
University and post-graduate study in clinical neuropsychology.

THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Gail
Fields, LICSW, BCD
Gail Fields is a clinical social worker and former Executive Director
of Concord Family Service who is currently on the Board of Jewish
Vocational Services, a member of the Massachusetts National Association
of Social Workers’ Education Commission, and the Acton Housing
Self Sufficiency Board.
Ms.
Fields has served on various professional and community boards through
the years such as the Massachusetts Council of Family Agencies,
Human Services, League of Women Voters and the Cary Library Steering
Committee. A graduate of Duke University and Simmons College School
of Social Work, she is currently involved in consulting and private
practice after many years of non-profit agency involvement.
Pamela
Johnson
Pam Johnson is a Senior Child Welfare Program Specialist serving
as the National Program Officer of Independent Living and other
youth-related child welfare issues in the U.S. Department of Health
and Human Services.
Ms.
Johnson has over twenty-five years of experience in designing and
implementing youth development programs and community-based services
at the national, state and local level. Pam is a member of the Child
Welfare League of America’s National Advisory Committee on
Youth Services and Independent Living Program Standards. She is
also a founding board member of the African-American Women’s
Resource Center and the Blacks in Government (BIG) - Southwest Chapter.
She is the recipient of numerous awards and commendation in recognition
of her work and long-standing dedication to improving conditions
for youth and their families.
Michael
Kaiser, Chair of the Board
Michael Kaiser is the Director of program services for the National
Center for Victims of Crime. He oversees the National Center's help
line, the Stalking Resource Center, and the Training Institute,
which brings cutting edge information to victim advocates and allied
professionals.
Mr.
Kaiser’s career in the non-profit arena spans 17 years, including
holding the positions of Associate Director for Development and
External Affairs and Associate Director of Administration at Victim
Services in New York, a 750 employee $35 million organization. He
has launched many innovative programs, several of them national
in scope, in the areas of domestic violence, sexual assault and
other forms of victimization.
Michael
Kaiser has served on the Board of Trustees of the College of the
Atlantic in Bar Harbor, Maine since 1991 and on the Board of Directors
of New Destiny Housing Corporation since 1998.
Arthur
N. Milliken, Treasurer
Art Milliken was Founder and President of the prestigious Massachusetts
based custom
designed housing firm, Acorn Structures, until 1995. Art, currently
a retired business executive, has a long history of serving on community-based
non-profit Boards of Directors. He serves is President of the Carlisle
Conservation Foundation. Mr. Milliken is also a corporator with
the Concord Family Services and Concord-Assabet Family and Adolescent
Services.
Art
Milliken graduated from the Brooks School in 1947, and went on to
get his B.S. from Yale University. He continued his studies at Harvard
Business School in the Owner-President Management Program.
Randi
Ziter
Randi Ziter is the owner of the renowned Putney Inn, in Southern
Vermont. In addition to her business and managerial acumen, Ms.
Ziter has a strong commitment to supporting organizations that provide
quality services for families and children. Ms. Ziter has been a
board member for several children and family service agencies serving
the communities of Southeastern Vermont.
Ms. Ziter is
a graduate of Williams College.
